What We Do
Here at Dental Centre we are proud to offer a wide range of treatments for orthodontics in Bournemouth, allowing us to align the teeth, improve the bite and correct the jaw profile – giving you the confidence to smile.
This field of dentistry is highly specialized and all of our treatment plans are tailored to meet individual needs and patient expectations.
Invisible braces are a popular choice and systems such as Invisalign, Six Month Smiles and Inman Aligners produce incredible results. Traditional bonded braces are also offered where the new clear alternatives are not appropriate. We also offer Incognito braces in Bournemouth, which allow us to more severe cases whilst remaining discreet.
What We’ve Done
Take a look below for some exceptional orthodontic cases that Dr Hardip Dhatt has completed!
- I want to straighten my teeth. Where do I begin?
Call us on 01202 291292 and we will arrange an initial free consultation to discuss your needs and agree a treatment plan. We will take impressions and scan your teeth too.
- As a young person I had orthodontic treatment but my teeth have since moved. Is it possible to correct this again?
At the initial consultation we will assess the nature of your movement, it may be possible use Inman Aligner. This is a simple, quick and effective option that can take as little as two to six months. However like all our dentistry, your treatment will be determined according to your individual case.
- What about once I’ve finished my treatment?
In order to maintain your newly aligned smile we highly recommend some form of post treatment retention. This may be a bonded retainer wire fixed to the back of your teeth; we also recommend the use of removable clear braces at night and at night to prevent relapse. Whichever option you
choose, post treatment retention is free of charge.
- How long will it take?
Because Orthodontic treatment depends upon the individual, the treatment duration will vary from case to case. To achieve the very best results this can range from several months to several years.
- Is orthodontic treatment available on the NHS?
Very few cosmetic dentistry and orthodontic options are available on the NHS, but we have a range of financial options available to help cover the costs. We suggest you attend Dental Centre for a free Bournemouth orthodontic consultation, where we can advise what’s best for you!
